On 27th April, 2008, the parishioners of Patanvilla (a substation of Puthenkada, Nayyatinkara) took part in number Religious ceremonies under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Joseph Needukunnel (Parish Priest) and Fr. Anto Thomas (Assistant Parish Priest). Rt. Rev. Dr. Vincent Samuel, Bishop of Nayyatinkara officiated the religious ceremonies which included Grotto Blessing, First Holy Communion, Confirmation and Commencing of the Parish Feast. The Grotto dedicated to Our Lady was built by Kerala Catholic Youth Movement unit of the Parish on the occasion of their Silver Jubilee. Let us thank the Lord for blessing them with very many graces in a single day.
