Final Profession of Nine Cenacle Sisters of the Sacred Heart

On 29 April 2025 nine Cenacle Sisters of the Sacred Heart made their Final Profession at the Cenacle Ashram, Dheka, Bilaspur. The solemn ceremony was presided over by Archbishop Victor Henry Thakur of Raipur, with Bishop Ignatius Mascrenhas of Chandigarh, along with Rev Fr Joy Palachuvattil SAC, the Provincial Rector, Fr Jacob Nampudakam, and other priests, concelebrating. Sr Karuna Kannanthanam received the profession of the Sisters, marking a significant milestone in their spiritual journey and commitment to their vocation. The ceremony was deeply moving, though subdued in tone due to the ongoing mourning period for Pope Francis. We rejoice in the selfless dedication of these nine sisters and pray that their lives may continue to bear abundant fruit in service to the Church and the world.
