Pallottine World Youth Day – Rome 2025
The General Secretariat for Apostolate organized the Pallottine World Youth Day at Casa per Ferie San Vincenzo Pallotti, Via di Porta Maggiore, Rome, from 27 July to 4 August 2025. Representing our Province at this international celebration were two young delegates: Miss Rochelle Patras (Mary Queen of Apostles Church, Pallotti Nagar, Nagpur) and Miss Monika Tirkey (Mary Queen of Apostles Church, Sangam Vihar, Delhi), accompanied by Fr Prakash Thankappan.
Fr Prakash described the event as a profound pilgrimage of faith, in which young people from the Pallottine Youth in India joined over a million young Catholics from around the world for the Jubilee Celebration of Catholic Youth. It was a moving witness to the vitality and universality of our faith—a Church vibrantly young, united in prayer and purpose, and filled with hope for the future. This experience has renewed the commitment of our youth to ministry and strengthened their connection with the global Church.
