In response to Pope Francis’ call for a thorough study of key Church documents in preparation for the Jubilee Year 2025, PAC Nagpur has launched a series of seminars focusing on the Dogmatic Constitutions of the Second Vatican Council. The Pope’s invitation aligns with the theme of the Holy Year, “Pilgrims of Hope,” which emphasizes spiritual renewal, conversion, and a return to the Church’s foundational teachings. Pope Francis has underscored the relevance of these documents for understanding the Church’s mission and role in the modern world.

The first seminar, held on 12 August 2024, focused on the Dogmatic Constitution Dei Verbum. The event was inaugurated by Most Rev Elias Gonsalves, Archbishop of Nagpur, in the presence of the Vicar General, Fr Antony D’Souza, Rev Fr Joy Palachuvattil, the Provincial Rector, and nearly one hundred participants. The speakers were Fr Paul Chandrankunnel and Fr James Thomas Anithottathil. The seminar was well-organized by the PAC team, comprising Fr James Thomas Anithottathil, Fr Rajesh Vijayakumar, and Fr Joseph Stanley Morris, with valuable assistance from the youth of Mary Queen of Apostles Church, Pallotti Nagar. It was a successful and enriching event—congratulations to everyone involved!
