Blessing and Inauguration of Casa Pallotti, Umran
With hearts filled with gratitude and joy, we celebrated the Blessing and Inauguration of Casa Pallotti, our Vocation Orientation Centre for Northeast India, located at Umran Niangbyrnai near Umsning, Meghalaya. The celebration took place on 16 June 2025, with His Grace, Most Rev Victor Lyngdoh, Archbishop of Shillong, graciously presiding over the Holy Eucharist and blessing the house.
We were especially honoured by the presence of Most Rev John Moolachira, Archbishop of Guwahati, who joined us along with numerous priests, religious, confreres, friends, dignitaries, and virtually the entire village community. The official inauguration and ribbon-cutting were carried out jointly by both Archbishops and Rev Fr Joy Palachuvattil, the Provincial Rector. Following the Eucharistic celebration, a short felicitation ceremony was held to acknowledge and thank all those who contributed to the completion of the project.
