Erection and Affiliation of Prabodhana, Mysore

The erection of Prabodhana, the Pallottine Institute of Theology, by the Dicastery for Culture and Education as an Ecclesiastical Institute of Higher Studies with Canonical Public Juridic Personality, along with its affiliation to the Faculty of Theology of Dharmaram Vidya Kshetram (DVK), Bangalore, was celebrated in a memorable ceremony on 03 March 2025.

The event was graced by Rev Fr Dr Joy Philip Kakkanattu CMI, President of DVK; Rev Fr Dr Sebastian Mullupparambil, Dean of DVK; several CMI fathers; our Major Superiors along with Bursars; invited priests and sisters from neighbouring communities; and the staff and students of Prabodhana. Our heartfelt gratitude to Rev Fr Dr Rajesh Cherian Ummikuzhy for his tireless efforts in completing the necessary documentation, as well as to all our staff members and confreres who contributed to this significant achievement. A special note of thanks is due to Rev Fr Henry Angel for his invaluable contribution in drafting the new statutes for Prabodhana.
