Punjab Mission

With gratitude and hope, we have taken our first steps into the Punjab Mission. Two of our confreres, Fr Aneesh Thomas Kanjirathingal and Fr Sandeep Bariya, have been deputed to the Diocese of Jullundur to assist in pastoral ministry, gain firsthand experience, and discern a suitable location for establishing our future mission presence. They were warmly welcomed at Ferozepur, on 01 June 2025. 

The Bishop Most Rev Agnelo Gracias has appointed Fr Aneesh as Assistant Parish Priest at St Michael’s Catholic Church, Anjala, and Fr Sandeep as Assistant Parish Priest at St Mary’s Cathedral. 

We entrust this new venture to the Lord’s providence and invite your prayers for our confreres, that their presence may bear fruit and lead to the fruitful establishment of our Pallottine mission in Punjab.
