Visit of the Apostolic Nuncio to Zambia and Malawi to Westwood

On 17 July 2025, St Vincent Pallotti Catholic School, Westwood, Lusaka, had the honour of welcoming His Grace Archbishop Gian Luca Perici, Apostolic Nuncio to Zambia and Malawi. He was received at the Pallotti Green House by the Pallottine Fathers and later celebrated the Holy Eucharist in the school hall, joined by Pallottine Fathers, Sisters, Catholic staff, students, and parents. In his homily, the Nuncio urged all Christians to be true followers of Christ. As Guest of Honour for the school’s Exhibition 2025, he encouraged staff and students to uphold Christian values nurtured at home and in school, and not let them fade in the face of rapid technological change. After inaugurating the exhibition, he toured the students’ displays on campus. Deeply moved by the visit—his first encounter with Pallottines outside Italy—Archbishop Perici invited all Pallottines in Zambia to the Nunciature for a dinner.
