“Rise & Shine” Faith Camp (2018), Zambia
A Faith Camp by the theme – “Rise &Shine” was organised by St. Michael Parish, Westwood, Lusaka, Zambia. The camp began on 10th December and concluded on 17th December 2018. The camp was attended by around 545 students apart from catechisers and animators. The daily activities included physical exercises, prayers, timely delicious meals, catechism classes, life matters subjects like – Adolescence and Peer Pressure, Drug & Substance Abuse, Decision-making, Self-awareness, Empathy, Early Pregnancies, Abortion and its evils, Education as First Priority, HIV & AIDS, STIs, Stigma and Discrimination, Family Life, Child Abuse, Character Building, Positive Living and Career Goal. A lot of parishioners and others came on board to support the program. A big thanks to all who worked behind its success.
