Printing Press

In 1834, St. Vincent Pallotti together with a group of collaborators, wanted to publish the work, “The Eternal Maxims” of St. Alponsus Ligouri in the Arabic language. The Publication was destined for the Chaldean Church in present day Iraq. The preparation for the publication was the work of divine providence, which brought together the collaborators for the propagation of faith through print media.

The publishing and printing activity of Pallotti and his collaborators had an important place in the wide range of activities undertaken. Books, appeals, prayer books, leaflets etc., were printed in various languages. Today the Society maintains many publishing houses which publish different religious works of varies character in at least 15 languages.
