Formation Commission

Formation Commission is an auxiliary body of the Provincial Administration. This commission works in collaboration with the General Secretariat for Formation. This Secretariat was constituted by the General Assembly 1998 as a response to the appeal of the Holy See to initiate in the communities of consecrated life the trial and elaboration of a systematic programme of formation for the persons who are part of the community or will be belonging to it. Following the experiences made and in close relationship with the writings of St. Vincent Pallotti, the General Secretariat for Formation has published the “Ratio Institutionis”. It is a detailed programme of formation and self-education for all candidates and members of the Society. The General Secretariat Formation regularly publishes an internal bulletin with the title “Bethlehem”, in which aspects of Pallottine spirituality and materials for the meetings of formators.
