Innovative Ministries
The activity of St. Vincent Pallotti and his collaborators in Rome embraced different fields and places of apostolic commitment. Here we can mention a few of them in summary form: assistance to the sick in the hospitals, care for the poor and the homeless, pastoral care in the prisons and of the military, direction of orphanage and homes for the elderly, direction of popular missions and retreats, conference for clerics and religious, organisation of solemn religious celebrations during the octave of epiphany. This wide range of apostolic tasks is evident right up to today in the works undertaken by the Pallottines. The members of the Society take on specific tasks which are suited to their personal capacities and charisms. The important thing is that in the carrying out their mission they realise the Pallottine charism and want to remain in their Local Communities.
